We are currently in the Lot and have not been asked for it once today. Went to a golf club and to a bar for a drink. Arrived at a campsite yesterday and booked in for a week so they should need it from today but the guy on reception didn’t want to see it yesterday and they haven’t checked today.
Interesting as this is supposed to be one of the bad areas for Covid. Noticed a lot of people going to the vaccination centres that we drove past over the weekend though.

We are in Normandy having travelled from Lot et Garone. our friends there are and have turned people away due to the rules, we were at dinner today and the staff scanned our Tout Covid app before we could tke a table.

We were in Villefranche de Rouergue on Saturday, spent one night at the municipal campsite and we had to show our Pass Sanitaire. Lunch today near Uzerche nobody asked for it....

Just been to our local 'Farmers Market' which has developed into a huge fortnightly BBQ. Even now there must be close to 800 people there. Today very strict, No Pass- No Admittance. Security was using his phone to scan, no idea if it would except any UK paperwork/QR code...

Restaurant yesterday and today asked and checked on their app. At Festival at Confolens no pass sanitaire no entry. Also at camp site

Furthermore are we even allowed entry to France with our paper certificate.?
Belgium Government won’t accept Scottish Covid certification you have to quarantine for 10 days on arrival and test on day 1 and day 7

But if you have the NHS covid certification QR code available in England and Wales you only need to test on day 1 of arrival and your good to go providing its negative .

According to our head of languages:
You can upload everything to the French site as JPEG, PNG, etc. It will be easier when the Scottish app is available. The paper certificate comes through very quickly.

We have EU Certificates of Vaccination on paper in both Polish and English language with QR codes.

Are they acceptable?

Geoff

It's basically a certificate stating you have had both jabs or equivalent and are therefore eligible to enter restaurants, bars, campsites, theatres, village fetes, shopping centres, hairdressers etc etc. Similarly it will be required if you wish to work in the health service, care homes etc. The UK were talking about it but ditched it.

At a different campsite now. Didn’t need pass sanitaire for campsite or if we want a takeaway from the little café but if we want to eat on their terrace then we need it.
one restaurant we went to they said the scanner did not accept our passes (french ones and on our smart phones) but they let us eat anyway. It has worked fine everywhere else.

Agreed but as usual queen Nicola likes to be different.

Does anyone know if you arrive from Scotland with the paper cert and the french decide to make you quarantine for 10 days. Does this need to be done in a hotel or can you do it in your van?

I think it is more likely you don't leave on the ferry or chunnel. The control would be in the UK... Or so I believe.

For the people getting photos of their NHS pass refused , make sure your showing the QR code from your second dose , not the first dose .
happened to us a couple of times until we realised why.

I tried to upload my covid health cert to the french Touseanticovid app but surprise surprise the barcode is in the wrong format so the app wont accept it.
Think you need the qr code not a bar code

Oh, where do I find it please.? What does it look like? I dont think I have one.
It’s a square with lots of little black and white squares in. Don’t know about England but here in France when you get the jab you get a certificate to confirm and it has the qr code on it and then we just scanned it into the app. Check if you have a qr code as well as a bar code?

I think the problem is because its scottish.

Might not be. One place we went to the scanne wouldn’t accept it and I think he hasn’t lined It up properly. Try again and follow the hints on the ‘wrong format’ message you got. Good luck
