Hi anyone else had a Fiat recall notice for a steering knuckle possible fault?

We are heading to spain so going to be fun finding a fiat garage to check it out.

Should we be worried ? Its only just gone through 1st mot with no issues.

If it’s gone through mot recently and it’s a garage you trust I would not be immediately concerned.
But it depends on the urgency of the recall status

Here are the details on the Gov website doesn't sound too serious. Why not phone Fiat customer services and get their opinion.

If fiat know that exactly 2633 vehicles are affected then they will likely know the chassis numbers.

If you look up the recall on the Fiat site it should give vin numbers of affected vehicles.

Had a good look this morning all round the knuckles , no damage or any cracks or cracking , no where near any garages till Monday so will drive slower and carefully and check them everyone we stop.

Since we've had this van we've covered about 6k this year , with no issues , its just a bummer we've had this recall away from home and no where near a dealer.

Thanks for helps people.

Keep you informed

John

Just a follow up.

Had the van checked today , at fiat dealership , san javier , Spain.

Everythings OK.

Looked at recall and checks to be made.
Inspected , one of the checks is to measure gap where knuckle clamps on. Tolerance was OK.

Thanks for help.
