My letter came from Fiat Chrysler Automobiles UK based in Birmingham but was based on DVLA information, rather than their own records.

Ours is *****02J2**** so looks like it was built before the dodgy knuckles. I hope.
Just put the inspection camera on mine - although not sure what to look for. There are no visible cracks. There are several numbers on the label, Product bar code, Serial Number, Fiat Serial Number, Supplier Number and date.
It would be good to know which part numbers or suppliers are affected or if it is physical damage such as cracking they are looking for.
Anyone able to say what the dealer would look for?

It seems that they first inspect for cracks and then take careful measurements to identify non compliant parts.. There are pictures on other threads.
