My Fiat Ducato clutch started slipping within 20 miles from home, on our way to Dover. Naturally we returned home and took the MH to David Peel Auto electrics in Keighley. They have tough lifting gear as they service lorries and other heavy vehicles. I've used them for MOT and the like many times.
Sadly the clutch was misbehaving and the total bill came to over Ā£900.
However I am now writing to you from Greece so it seems to be working just fine.

Good luck.

You are a star - thank you so much for taking the time to reply (along with everyone else who has given some sage advice). rang David Peel Auto electrics and I may not have to spend a penny. they've had 3 vans in the last month with same issue - all fiats that have been in storage. Suggested solution is to remove battery terminals for 1.5 hrs and reconnect and it clears fault. I've all crossed this will work. thank you again.
