Ive read on another forum that Fiat are not going to continue with their app, and I’ve tried to use it this morning and it doesn’t seem to be working anymore.

That would be a shame, if true, I’ve found it very useful. Traffic light indicator not working on mine either, this has happened before when upgrades have taken place.

Mine seems to be working John but It's veeeerrrrrry slow inbetween clicking the buttons and something happening.

It’s telling me it can’t find my chassis number which is what I’ve clicked on. News only as far back as last September. Mike

I can't use it anyway as apparently our dealer hadn't registered our camper with Fiat!

Every time I try to put in my details on the Fiat camper website it tells me:

Sorry, this VIN is incorrect or belongs to a vehicle registered before 2005 or not manufactured by one of our brands. Please check and try again.​

Mine said that before I got the dealer to register it correctly. Then the app said I'd used an invalid number. Tried it again a few weeks later and it was OK and I needed urgent recall. A few weeks more and it gave the error message you got. A bit later still - all OK. Anyway, it had the EGR recall work done last week and when I picked it up the garage said they'd done two further recall updates (clip and ecu update). When i check the app today to see if the warning has gone... Tells me the vin is wrong and for a vehicle prior to 2005.

I might have lost a little confidence in the app

I contacted Fiat customer relations after the app said I had a recall outstanding.
It turned out to be connected to the security of the spare wheel carrier.

In the course of the conversation , they told me the app will be withdrawn from service soon. Didn't say what 'soon' meant.

Doesn't make any odds I was using the apps months before I got my van (personl import) on the Fiat data base, I found out about the 1st recall via the app and only got my van on the data base when I took it in for the recall.

Only recent recall I can see is in the press is for a possible problem with cruise control for some American Fiat brands.

My app was working fine a couple of weeks ago now when I access it all it does is redirect you to their website. Does this mean it's the end of the app?

I think so. Its been like that for a week or so - the app was a bit flakey anyway so maybe the website will be a bit more responsive. I did just get a letter through the post to have a recall done which I'd already had done a month previous so I think everything around recalls is a bit on the drag at Fiat.
