Don’t know if it’s been mentioned before but as an owner of a convertible sports car and Motorhome….I’ve just been ‘feeding’ the rubber seals on the car to hopefully stop leaks in the future, and thought eh oh ….what about the seals around the windows etc on the Motorhome. Rubber is a natural product and dries out with time , hence seals cracking , going hard etc. So I’ve just gone round various seals on the Adria ….gummi phledge, is the product I use but there are various different ones out there. DONT USE silicone spray!!

Autoglym rubber seal treatment👍
Apply with sponge pad or cloth easy Peasy and no mess.

I've got some gum.🤔..

It's very similar to silicone grease, in fact I tried some silicone grease before this and it's indistinguishable. Doesn't do much to be honest, just stops the rubber sticking to the window when it's been shut months 👍

I think lip balm is petroleum based as like Vaseline, so not recomended. But it would be good to apply 🤔🤔👍👍
We used to get it in care packs for the seals on Double glazed windows, not sure what it was made with but you only used it every few years so I don't think it would do any harm. It worked good and very easy and clean to apply.

Aerospace 303. I have used that for many years on our kayaking drysuits, neck, and wrist latex seals. It keeps them in good supple condition.
I tried it on all the vans windows and door seals, seems OK. Brings back the colour to the seals as well.

I notice that Gummi contains Vaseline which seems a cheaper solution.
