Europe open with no quarantine

We are booked in at the CMC site Treamble valley on 5th July, now thinking of cancelling and going over to France along the Atlantic side towards CapBreton. We normally go there in April and September, will the aires and sites be really busy as we have always avoided July and August?

That's interesting. So you can go to Spain, Greece, France and return without going into quarantine.

They won't actually know where you have been when you turn up at the tunnel in Calais.

Apparently that’s the case.

They never have known. I don’t think you have to go if you don’t want to.

No quarantine, but be aware there are some regulations, in Spain at least, and you MUST have a mask with you at all times and wear one in certain circumstances.

Looking much rosier for us to get back to the UK through the tunnel for a few weeks on the 9th July

Be aware though that the FCO advise is still essential travel only at the moment, so effectively that will probably invalidate any travel insurance until they change it-hopefully next week?

#missmollie We are usually down around Capbreton july/aug and yes its very busy but with a bit of patience you can usually get a spot but its tight. We personally love it busy(y)

They appear to think we all fly so they will know where we have been. Europe but does not include Portugal and Sweden.

Do you need a proper medical mask or like a lot here are using a dust mask or just a bit of old rag?

Will all the borders in Europe be opened up then?

Full list of countries to be announced next week but they said Portugal and Sweden will not be on the list how they are going to stop you from crossing the border from Spain to Portugal god only knows

The majority of travellers will fly directly, as a percentage motorhomers are not many

Just have a mask 😉

It doesn't necessarily have to be a proper one. We have some early ones, that were home made by the local community. They are much easier to wash and sterilise. We'll be carrying them with us.

We went out last night, its was really busy as it is every weekend, and only the odd person that never had a mask on, people are very aware of personal space, it's funny how quick you learn to pick up a mask up along with your phone and ID when you go out. 🤔 Bob.

Yes the left doesn't know what the right is doing.
