Euro tunnel tickets expired

Booked our tunnel in November 2021 to travel on January 2022 then due to covid and having to wait 4 months for parts for our van we decided to put our trip off until January 2023 only to find out today our tickets expire in November That was a waste of £330 I think someone could be trying to tell me something

You may find ringing them that for a small fee they will extend them. Did so for us a few years back £20 I think it cost.

Oh that's annoying. I would have thought we probably paid with Tesco points as well, but can't be sure.

I have noticed a general tightening up of things like this post pandemic. If companies don't have to, they don't.

I don't know how far away you are from the tunnel but rather than waste it I would try fitting in a weekend or few days rather than give them the pleasure of taking the money and running.

How about selling them to another funster? I know nothing about travelling by tunnel, maybe you’d have to pay to change details but better to recoup some of your losses rather than lose the lot.

Won't be able to as they person travelling AFAIK has to be on the Tesco account due to their using some Tesco exchange vouchers in their name which is then on the ones for ET, that's why you can't sell the pre-converted vouchers anymore which is what Ebay was a good outlet for!

We have just booked for Jan next year and notice that they will only do non refundable tickets if you use Tesco vouchers now? I seem to remember you used to be able to book the flexi tickets with them before lock down? I may of course be wrong?

Because you have no choice but to drive through France to get to Spain simple! And before you ask all dog friendly cabins were fully booked on the boat.

When we had our two boys we could never get a dog friendly cabin in the last 10 years and you could only have one dog in a cabin? So always have driven down through France. Those that get them must have some good connections

I read about a group of lads who were flying Ryanair somewhere for a stag do, one guy was ill so they advertised on facebook for somebody with the same name to join them. I know its a long shot but might be worth a try.
