I too suffer with arthritis thought this idea up it works for me.

I can see you have attached the g clamp to the battery but I'm not sure how that helps you, does it allow you to grip the drill better because of your arthritis ?
Drilling in that position doesn't look like it would be comfortable for most ?

Great idea. i have a similar problem with arthritic hands and removing the battery from my DeWalt drill has become a trial of strength (or rather lack of).
i just need to dig a G clamp out of the box of miscellaneous tools that hardly ever get used these days from under the other boxes of seldom used tools at the back of the (very full) shed.

Think lateral. Undoes jam jars, use it as a handle. Clamp the patio doors shut when we go away.
Buy 2 then when the wife bakes cakes clamp one on each and use as training weights😂😂
