Sue and I like cycling and disability scootering along canals. We like St Neots and want to discover other sites on canals. We've been to St Quentin in northern France and Edam in The Netherlands. Any ideas welcome. Thanks.

Stayed there 2 weeks ago, easy access to canal and great walking (plus pubs)Devizes is a nice site for that. Camping and Caravan club I think.
This site could be useful -- http://narrowboatinfo.co.uk/canal-videos/
The map shows the narrow canals in green, they would be the easiest to walk - I would recommend the Oxford or Caldon from Stoke.

The Macclesfield and the Shropshire Union canals are also wonderful to walk. The Macc has those amazing Snake Bridges

Out the entrance of the campsite and you are on the tow path..
Lovely Camp Site and a pub/restaurant at the entrance...
And right on the canal a cafe where you can sit and have a Full English breakfast for about a £5... sit outside and watch the "Swing Bridge" and all the various boats go by...![]()
