Why do I have a French flag on my emoji, & how do I get rid of it ?

You could use a Vpn connection via your preferred country 😉

I think its either a VPN or you are actually posting from France. The Union Jack should appear when you repost from UK.

Just checked. I had a Union flag when I posted my last reply and I've switched to a German VPN my flag has changed to a German one on both is and the previous one. So it seems to be the flag from the country where you are connecting from.

It does not look like a French flag to me.....they are red white and blue

Hi Kip

When I hover my mouse over the flag, it says "Romania" and not France. If you are not in that country, I would expect that you are connected via a VPN

Cheers

Tell me about it !! I feel violated!!

If you hover over the flag it will give you the country. It says Romania But I can confirm the country you are in the UK. Maybe your provider is messing with IP or the anti-spammers database we use to detect the location has it wrongly indexed though that would be rare.

Is that why he has not had his jab invitation? They think he’s in Romania😁😁

Definitely my VPN playing silly buggers, it was French this morning, now it's showing Romanian, wonder what it will be tonight 🙂

You're not "borrowing" your neighbour's Wi-Fi are you ?
