Hi, I am looking at buying an Elddis Autoquest Evolution 185 2018 and was hoping someone might have some pointers on what to check, has anyone got any advise or had damp problems with these vans, any help anyone has would be much appreciated, this will be our first MH.

Well I would get a damp check done on anything , any make I would be buying
Whether Private or Dealer sale, I would want sight of the Hab Checks and Damp checks from 2019 and 2020
Whilst your question related to Elddis 185, same would apply to any 3 yr oldvan

Check operation of the Whale heater( noise) and water pump ( noise)
Damp would be in back wall at base

And potentially on the sidewalls at the floor level under the bench side seats.
You will also need to check that it has the remains of a 6 year warranty ( 2 nd user reduced from 10 years to 6 years for water ingress) which needs to be registered with Eldiss or whoever they are now.the warranty will only be valid if all hab checks are up to date and stamped in the handbook with reciepts available.

Welcome from the south side of Donny👍

Whilst not knocking the 185, before you buy one have a look in the Elddis Encore 285 very similar but a bit more luxurious.
I had the Elddis Encore 255 with zero problems and zero damp.
That said, even better, check out an Adria Coral 670 SLT similar layout, but much better built (that is just my humble opinion)
