Yep, I've seen that. The address looks a bit iffy but am I missing something else?

What I don’t understand is how these scamers seem to have 100% positive feedback and have been on eBay for years .

All their feedback is as a buyer, and none as a seller. They have bought stuff to get good feedback and all of their sales are classifieds so no feedback would be left by the sorry buyer as the transaction would happen off ebay😟

Total scam here's the real listing for £61,995

They only have feedback as a Buyer, none as a Seller and from a quick scan their purchases as a Buyer are largely cosmetics/domestic stuff.

(My reply crossed with Next Stop's).

Simple hyjack a good users name and password. That’s how a lot of them reapprear so quickly. I’m sure user names and passwords are available on the dark web.

I have really lost faith in the site
It is so huge and apparently uncontrollable
There are as many scam buyers as sellers who know how to work Paypal system

Amazon do it so well that all the sh*t is rising to the top on ebay

The address mentioned is in the middle of a housing estate.. and I think I might know of a major trader 20 miles from me

I have reported ALL the vans listed

The account belongs ( belonged !! ) to a young lady

I agree. Most of us here all know the prices of Motorhomes and can spot a scam price but it’s only because we have an interest in the vehicles. It’s easy to see how people can be greedy and think they are getting a bargain . I remember a scam in the first lockdown where a couple paid for a motorhome that never existed . They both worked in the NHS I think . I felt sorry for them as they lost all their money but people really shouldn’t pay money for a motorhome they haven’t even seen!

The thing that gets you involved is the first thing they ask is for you to leave your phone number, that's when the scam will start , they will start drawing you in to deposits, and delivering to your house and all the attendant getting your money off you.

my message to contact the seller

Wow, this is everything I am looking for. I would love to view it, and am able to leave a £10k deposit if its in perfect order subject to viewing of course.
Will you let me know when its convenient to view please.

Ill let you know what happens!

Maybe some philanthropic person is buying them at SMC and then selling them at a huge discount. Er???

Yup. And when you want to view it they'll say they're working abroad/on an oil rig/away in the Orkney's/in for a service/ in a virus restricted area etc. etc. and insist upon a deposit 'to hold it as I've had a lot of interest.......' or some such drivel.

Did the same with one a few years ago with a van that was half the true price and I’d seen it elsewhere for sale. Checked with the true owner then went after this guy. Convinced the idiot I was stupid enough to buy it unseen and had fallen for his assurance that it would be delivered to my house and he’d refund me immediately if I didn’t like it. He wanted it to be paid to an intermediary account but he was so thick I eventually convinced him to give me his own bank account details. Printed out all details and took it to his bank to ask how they could have opened an account for a fraudster. Also sent it to eBay and the fraud hotline. Got one unhappy threatening email back from him (which I replied to.) Quite enjoyed it 😀
