Hello lovely people.

New auxiliary belt fitted today.
Alternator bolted up and there is a bracket along side but bolt to apply final/proper tension on the belt is missing.

Can anyone supply part number, picture or photo?

Not sure what I need but Fiat couldn't help my garage.

It is normally a 10mm diameter bolt , 40 mm long( then again mine isn't the 2,5),with a hexagon shape in the alternator to trap bolt head . That's all I can help with. all you need is a bolt long enough for a full nut + couple of threads over .

What size though?
My fitter thought maybe it had a square fitting one end?
Anything is possible but they are usually a standard hex head bolt
Get your man to measure what is needed rather than a best guess :)

As @Jaws said you just need to know diameter of hole & length of bolt required to clamp the alternator to the adjusting bracket.
