we've got one, you might say it's brand new, only used it once (we've got the Hymer B680, 7Mtrs) it seemed like a good idea at the time, but it's not everywhere you can drive away to, you can hardly park in the local supermarket ?
We paid just under a £1000.00 for it, well worth the money, a very good awing/tent. the time we used it really pelted down with hail stones, no leaks no drafts. It's a Ventura, its about 3 mts square, the three panel's, front and sides can be removed, for anyone that's interested in buying I'm looking for £500.00 for collection
Hiya . We have a Vango air awning - very easy to put up and take down. Useful as a sun room and extra sleeping for grandkids.
Have only used it a few times ; left it up when we took G kids to Legoland and all was fine - detaching/re attaching was ok [and we are very short people !] Need to be aware of size and weight of it when travelling ; and pump that comes with it dosent fit in the bag [ we dont have a large garage - it all goes under the table when we travel.]
The experience of many with drive away awnings is:
You buy it
You use it a couple of times
You move it to your garden shed as it's big and cumbersome and takes up a lot of room in the van, but will be really useful one day.
3 years later you sell is for half what you paid for it as it's still nearly new.
