I know this is a common topic but can't find the right answer, so apologies for asking if already discussed.

My motorhome has a Dometic RM7855L fridge , the overall sizes of the upper and lower external vents are 518 x 278mm.

I have done much research but can't pin down which winter covers will fit.
Would prefer to get them cheaper from Ebay if possible.

Can anybody please advise which ones they have found will fit?

Well, a kind Funster contacted me and I bought two covers off him.
They fit (see attached image) but leave me with some questions.

They fit nicely into the aperture in the grille but don't fit securely so you could drive with them?

The two little Quarter turn fasteners don't connect to anything, they may expand into the grille gaps, I still have to check this?

I have a friend who has a motorhome with differently sized grilles and covers. His fit exactly the same.

Any advice please?

I have a 2020 van and the quarter turn fasteners on mine do lock it in place
I also have a question , can you run the fridge on either electric or gas with the covers fitted ?

If the vents haven’t left the gas flu uncovered don’t fit the top cover when gas is on.
Some models - other than ones needing the EWS300 covers it looks like the OP needs - have cut outs.

Mean to ask in the post above:-
Do your fixings expand into a socket(like they do for the frame into the vehicle side) or do they expand and grip in the parallel gaps between the grille louvers ?

If on gas I see you don't use the upper cover, if on EHU or driving I guess you can ?

They just expand into the slot, I don't risk leaving them on when driving. I've seen several reports of them being stolen I think it's more likely they fell off when driving.

Although the instructions on my fridge say put them on when below 8 deg, I've found the top one gets hot and soft when on gas if you do, so I don't. I don't know if this still happens on mains as we hardly ever use EHU.
A lot of fridges mainly the small ones say not to fit both vents when on gas.
