The ones for SMEV hobs are no better. You can get them online cheaper than £14 each though! I bought a pack of 6 a while ago and just accept they'll need replacing every now & then.
Local dealer tells me they are one of the most nicked items from display vans, which is not on - no need for petty theft.
These will probably fit - £6 for 4 is a bit more bearable....
Hard to determine who is committing the biggest crime though.....Smev or the petty criminalThe ones for SMEV hobs are no better. You can get them online cheaper than £14 each though! I bought a pack of 6 a while ago and just accept they'll need replacing every now & then.

The clip bit snaps in two and you're left with the pin and one half of the clip.
Around £4.50 - £5.00 a piece + postage!

Perhaps if the dealers admitted there was a problem and gave them replacements at no cost they wouldn't get nicked!!The ones for SMEV hobs are no better. You can get them online cheaper than £14 each though! I bought a pack of 6 a while ago and just accept they'll need replacing every now & then.

I've got the bar & the (Colchester) lathe. Just haven't got round to bringing the two together yet.I knocked a couple up on the Myford from a bit of PTFE bar I had, much better than the originals, their choice of material is part of the problem.
These might help, don't last as long as the originals but lots cheaper so worth a punt....

You're kidding????Our van was also new in April, I sent Dometic an email and there answer was that we were using to big a pan or kettle on the hot plates for Oh Please!.
John.
Tried this stuff in the past and not so impressed tbh.....This looks like a job for sugru.
It starts off like children plasticine but sets to a solid heat resistant rubber. I have used it for the lid of my kettle, should be ok for the base of the legs of a hob?
Great stuff. I always carry a pack of this and a pack of the Polymorphic plastic.
They do black and white versions
