Rally Chat Domestic Fridge services at Rallies? (1 Viewer)

Does anyone know if Domestic engineers will be visiting any of the meets to offer free Fridge services as they do with Auto Trail and Bailey?

I'm certainly not one for being picky but was it Dometic fridge for your Moho or domestic fridge which is like the one at home? The reason I'm asking as there was a recent thread on here regarding having a domestic fridge rather than a 3 way fridge and BTW

Definitely Domestic fridge in a motorhome or caravan. Check the gas. But cannot find where I saw it.

Ah, must be me but I though domestic fridges only run on mains electric. Didn't realise they made gas fridges for the home still.

Not for the home. for motorhome or caravan. I have a domestic fridge in my motorhome. Works on gas, 12v and 220 v hookup.

I think you'll find it is a "Dometic" fridge, that is the manufacturers brand name NOT domestic which is any make of fridge for the house

Oh right. Never realised they made domestic fridges on 3 way. Is that the type or manufacturer. Mine is a Dometic fridge. Is it possible yours is Dometic not domestic?

No one does "free" servicing . Some rallies where Dometic have a stand will have a local engineer for the event. They will cover warranty work free

To be fair, is it not possible for you to get a local fridge engineer? I think you'll find Dometic engineers will be pricey or is it a warranty issue.
I get mine serviced and repaired (and slight modifications) by Rhinoinstalls

had my seven year old fridge serviced at a rally and had to have it fixed again 3 month later with a blocked jet
the gas line in had rust particles in it, which when serviced were disturbed and when on to block the newly fitted jet
get yours blown thro at the service!
