Yes, scary isn’t it!What on earth is it doing to your teeth, looks like something battery acid would do
Interesting fact, but don't personally brush my teeth with sun tan lotion...I use the Lidl version but the washbasin in our Hymer is made from a ground glass, stone & resin..
Plastic ones also get damaged by suntan lotion.
I think it is just that it sat in there all night. It must have been a heavy night as I would normally rinse it round. I posted it so people are aware of what it can do. Probably just as bad to put it in the toilet because you may miss a bit when rinsing. It is probably worse for us as it is a grey bowl.Oh whaoo... I use it too. Never had this..Mind you I rinse it each time...But what can it do when in the hose???.
I might use a small basin from now on, just to brush my teeth and pour it in the toilet...could do it's job there!
Yes Lenny, I had a friend that had a brand new €8,000 pool liner destroyed by the sun lotion for kids that goes on blue so you can tell if you covered the little darlings!I use the Lidl version but the washbasin in our Hymer is made from a ground glass, stone & resin..

I shudder at the thought of swallowing all that crud, food debris, plaque and such like. Mine goes in the toilet cassette.Don’t spit your toothpaste into the sink, swallow it instead. Not only are you getting a bit of extra fluoride to strengthen your teeth you’re not getting all that muck to clear up. Recommended by one of my Physiology teachers at Med school in the late 70’’s, she also reckoned nitrites in smoked foods were bad for you, ahead of her times I think. She was in her 60’s then. I have followed her advice re toothpaste ever since! Rinsing is a waste of time and good toothpaste.
My wife’s Sensodyne says to spit it out and my Duraphat (prescription toothpaste) says do not swallow. Perhaps fluoride levels are now higher than in the 70’s. Duraphat has very high levels of fluoride so you’re right you definitely shouldn’t swallow that but Sensodyne, assuming you clean your teeth twice a day and use a pea sized lump is perfectly safe.My wife’s Sensodyne says to spit it out and my Duraphat (prescription toothpaste) says do not swallow. The scientific answer to the peas is very obvious and scientific. Petit pois size for the under 12s and garden pea sized for the 12 and overs. Works for most medicines and vaccination doses! Is that garden or petit pois sized?
I am up all night worrying about the level of casual inaccuracy prevalent in today's society. I mean, maximum load 8 persons? Really? Just a minute? I'm timing you.
(Neither spit nor swallow (don't go there). Don't use water and simply wipe onto tissue paper and into the khazi.)
Just spit out into the toilet itself, that's what we do as there's no mess to clear up in the sink then unless you're a messy brusher and dribble!Oh whaoo... I use it too. Never had this..Mind you I rinse it each time...But what can it do when in the hose???.

I do, just as good as the extremely overpriced Sensodyne. I can't remember which but one is white paste the other is blue gel, I prefer the latter for taste but they both do the same job.Use Aldis orLidls toothpaste very good and cheap.

Yes great idea, which brings me to another point especially on small bathroom pvc’s, why would you need a sink in there?? I wouldn’t, I’d rather have a slightly bigger shower and a bit more room to sit on the khazi! Just my humble opinionI use the metal sink in the kitchen. No damage!
Occasionally I have a strip wash instead of a shower. I don’t fancy doing that at the kitchen sink instead of the bathroom basin. The neighbours might think I am waving at them.Yes great idea, which brings me to another point especially on small bathroom pvc’s, why would you need a sink in there?? We had that happen in our old Hymer, I must have spilt a tiny drop of Ultrasun 20 on the edge of the basin-it stained it and was impossible to remove.I use the Lidl version but the washbasin in our Hymer is made from a ground glass, stone & resin..
