2018 but still a newbie.
Finished making my retro control panel today. Rather pleased with it even if there are too many switches.

Ooh. You can never have too many switches. Maybe you could add a couple of Nixie tubes?

I have no been thinking of adding LED power on lights 😁

You could set it up so you have to have the switches in a certain configuration to get things to work ... could keep you amused for hours! 😄
 
I would have chosen terminal posts with DC supply you can wrap bare wires round, instead of USB sockets, but otherwise it's outstanding!
