Been to a customers today who we do all the building work for. They have just had a price for a walk in bath. The price seemed high to me so i made some calls and i have saved them over 2 grand and that is with us still making a decent profit. So by my reckoning they are chargeing way over the odds with anything to do with mobility.
They are an old couple and in my opinion were being ripped off. So beware all of you who have relations who need mobility aids, will be alot cheaper to have them fitted by local builder/plumber instead of so called mobility specialists.

2 months ago I noticed that I had a couple of broken roof slates, so I called a local roofer and asked him to have a look.

The work took 1 hour and 3 slates were used, the bill was £30.0 which I thought was very fair.

A few weeks later my next door neighbour told me she needed to have her gutters looked at and a new down spout fitted, I told her of the guy that came to me and recommended.

The roofer done the work, it took 1 1/2 hours and the bill was £120.00.

I said that was a bit expensive and she replied it happens all the time as she is a lady on here own, her Hubby died 5 years ago.

I was flabbergasted.
