That's why when we went Chausson, we chose the F/B with the occasional extra berth as manual

Mind you, three others I know who have electric drop down beds have never had problems.

We had a Chausson 510 with electric bed and table. It had to be reset many times! It did have a handle, but a real pain to use. Since we travelled with our daughter needed the extra bed under for her. It was very stressful going on holiday with the worry either one would fail. So traded it in for a hymer, manual table no electric bed and feel so much more relaxed :)
