All the gear, and no idea!
Can anyone on here give me a steer as to which deadlock is suitable for a Chic C-line drivers door, and of course where to obtain one?
If you’ve done it I’d be grateful for any pics and some know how as to do it, I’ve got one on hab door, but would really like to get one for drivers door to compliment my security arrangements courtesy of Vanbitz and JJB sports😉😁😁

I've been thinking about dropping one of these in the door pocket
Not a lock but it will scare the bejesus out of any one that opens the door.

Edit - Even cheaper

I’d rather try and put them off before they try butchering the door!!
How do they react to being stamped on, do they shatter Easy like most plastic boxs, cos that’s what’ll happen if they’re quick enough!

Can you usually see internal dead locks?
I thought you wanted the security for when you are in the van asleep?

I find a shotgun works well, and a permanent deterrent, but old bill don't seem to agree, not sure why, only protecting your castle

I fitted Abbus dead locking cylinder locks to our last Hymer and they were reasonably easy to do if you have the tools and competent at lock fitting😊 however I think you will find them hard to purchase I had ordered mine from Germany but that more difficult now🤔
The problem with alternative brands are that they have a built in face plate on the lock casing whereas Abbus locks have a steel back plate that connects by grub screws in the lock body.😊

I have the Growler armed when I’m in the van so I don’t really need a noise from a plastic box relying on me to keep remembering to put batteries in, also when I’m in I have a second growler at present

All I’d like is another lock for em to get thru before they set the growler off😁😁
