we are trying to get all the details that we require to get a crit air sticker, How do we find out our vehicles CO2 emmision as it is not listed in the log book and we have to declare it in the application. any knowledge please people.

many thanks for your replies. another question did you complete form on line or get a blank copy to fill in.

As above, online. Took quite a few weeks to arrive, but I believe you can use the email from them in the interim, or something like that.

On line - the only hassle I had was scanning and uploading the page of the V5 they need )due to my own incompetence). Filled in what I could on the form on line sent it off with the fee and had an email the next day which conformed everything and could be used as proof of having the grit air and the actual sticker arrived about three days later. What I would be cautious about is making sure that you apply through the official site - there is no charge except for the €5 or so that the sticker costs and any site that asks for more than that is conning you.

What's the secret of scanning copying please, I been trying to apply for couple of days, its doing my head in!

Damn it! I was worried that someone might ask me that. Now I have to try to remember. The problem as I recall it was that there is a limit on the size of file you can send them. I think that in the end I scanned the relevant page on my printer (you don't need the whole document) and saved it as a .pdf, using a memory stick to get the file from the printer to the laptop. I am sure others will have much simpler explanations of how to do it . . . . .

I scanned just the main page of details from the Log book on mu printer converted to pdf transferred to computer via blutooth and attached to application. email received shortly afterwards with confirmation of receipt. Another email receivrd 2 days later with copy attached of invoice and crit air sticker, just wait for the actual thing to arrive in the post.

Got it done in the end, switched from Apple to Windows and it finally worked!

Our screen badge has not come and unfortunately they cannot just reissue another for foreign vehicles so they are refunding my payment and have asked me to apply again. I’ll leave it now until after the busy U.K. Christmas postal times & strikes I think.

Apologies for butting in but I’m trying to apply for my critair sticker and can’t get past first page! Get to te captcha tick box to prove I’m not a robot - tick the box - it turns Green but then I hit the blue continue box and nothing! Have tried 5 times now starting from scratch - even tried filling it in in French without translation! Anyone else had this problem if so how did you get past it?

nomad2022 I think some people have had problems completing the process and it may have been down to what they were using to complete the forms on from memory. i.e. Apple phone iPad windows etc.

I’ve never had a problem the twice I’ve done it and have used iPad recently and windows laptop previously.

👍Thanks Roy finally managed to get mine done on iPad it was all down to uploading suitable image of V5

Don’t forget you only have to answer the questions with a little red asterisk alongside them. You can leave the others blank (commercial description, euro standard and CO2). Vehicle category for Motorhomes is M1

My workaround to compress the V5 image size just using a mobile, was to send a copy of the V5 photo to a WhatsApp friend, then save and use the WhatsApp image as WhatsApp compresses it nicely.
