COVID certificate

Just had an email through saying that the NHS is issuing a new covid certificate and asking if I want one or not, I have 12 hours to give my answer.
Is this a scam or genuine.

Mick has just checked on his NHS app (not the covid app) and new passes can be obtained from them.

No mention of cost on original email but didn’t click on the link now deleted kaput it certainly looked like it was genuine. IT IS A SCAM BEWARE
