I’m with 3 and only got 1 or 0 bar inside the house ? so contacted 3 and got the Home Signal sent, it connects to your existing broadband by Ethernet. I now get full bars inside ...... result.
So the question is:
Can it be used in Motorhome?
You need 240 power ( inverter) you need a port for Ethernet cable.
Thoughts?

Vodafone do one like that too. I believe they don't use the local phone signal but connect to the provider via the router to the internet.

So you could use one in a MH but only if you have a good Internet connection and a router, not a MiFi, which has an ethernet port.

It would work, but it wouldn't be cheap as you would need a good external antenna on the roof and a suitable router.

3 have an app which does exactly the same thing...... Connects via your router and calls made via Internet
No need for extra gadgets.

Just checked and the app is discontinued BUT check your phone settings under wireless & networks...... Mobile networks......
If your phones compatible it will show WiFi calling... Turn it on.
If it works it will show either an upside down phone handset with WiFi icon or the words WiFi calling in the info bar at the top of phone screen.
I-phones, if compatible, are already set up.

We had a 3 Home Signal unit a couple of years ago when we had no mobile phone signal living ( and very slow BT broadband) in the wilds of Kent.
The unit has a SIM card in it so assume it needs a phone line to work.

The one advertised to me would only work with a landline, so not suitable for a motorhome.⁸

Technical name is a femto box, Most networks used to sell them.
I have an EE one but as they are only 3G, EE stopped selling them when 4G started.

That's why 3 withdrew their app and developed their new software..... Future Roll out of 5G.
