Can you tell me any place with hook up facilities or campsites
please and any recommendations etc

YouTubers St Christopher of Atlantis just went to Newquay and raved about the large portion from Rick Steins takeaway, enough for 2 £12

Wadebridge nice CL basic farmer field , view looking towards padstow , £10 a night .
Bus stop ten minutes walk from site take to padstow / Truro and various places .

From the view it looks like Carlyon Farm to me,
But it could be Higher Penmayne or Trewint

All are near Rock, opposite Padstow (which is 10 min cycle and a passenger ferry ride away)

(I lived in the area until my teens, so know that view well)

(My sister lives in the house at the top of the hill behind Tintagel CaMC site, so I know that view as well, and you can't see Padstow!)

This time of year you'll need to go to a campsite if you want electric.

Doubletree farm is near Eden project if that's of interest, not too expensive. I'd best add I've only stayed here on a CCC weekend meet!

Trenance in Newquay, good walks and nice but busy beaches. Not stayed here but it is the closest to town.

There are plenty of sites, CAMC and CCC as well as lots of commercial ones.

I 2nd Doubletree Farm, nice site with good views and a 12 min walk to the Eden project.
Try the app searchforsites or park4night who list loads of possibles.

Look for the morelo on the bluff.

We are leaving Trewethett Farm camc site (Tintagel) tomorrow to go to Treamble camc site for 4 days then off to Looe camc for 4 days then Black Knowle camc for 3 days then Winchester camc site for 2 days. Not all Cornwall but you get the idea.
May I recommend the no electric economy grass site at Trwethett Farm for fabulous views, if you can get one of the top bluff sites.

Another 11 days on CAMC sites. No expense spared then?

We do try to do cls but when your met with answer machines and no email returns for days I just book club sites.

It can be annoying, but it’s the nature of the beast. Perhaps CAMC should use their riches to provide an online booking system for all CL and affiliates?

We had a couple of days at Tristram Camp site at Polzeath last week which is only yards from the beach which has a restaurant on site and only a 5 min walk to the village(not much there though?
We then went onto Treveague Farm campsite near Mevagissy about half price and Raj the chef does really nice authentic curries.
