very talented, nice pic's on website, thank you,(y)(y)

Wonderful photographs

We live in a small terraced townhouse with a small front garden onto a busy main road and during lockdown I've been feeding the birds more and more.
Had millions of goldfinches, but recently started getting a bluetit coming in, but he's too fast to photograph, but the highlight was a male bullfinch came on Christmas day, and again on boxing day.

Been lovely just watching them out of the window

Thank you just found the photos, I would enjoy seeing any more you have, I see CWH has named them but it would be a added bonus to have the name under each bird.
Through the lock down I have had a lot of pleasure watching our garden birds, I do have one very cheeky blackbird who as soon as he sees us having breakfast comes to the patio doors and looks in until he gets his morning meal worm.
Thank you for sharing your stunning photos.

All are amazing photographs but the Jackdaw is off the planet ! you really captured that inquisitive Corvid look there, along with superb lighting and details.

Please do post more, best thread i've seen for a long time, some inspirational skills you have Sir

Wow! blown away by all the lovely comments, thank you to each and everyone of you!!

As CWH pointed out - the list below is correct with regards to the above photos. (Could not edit my initial post to insert names.)

long-tailed tit
cormorant
jackdaw
bluetit
male chaffinch
male blackbird

From now on I shall put the names of each bird directly above the image.

These images are of the same bird (Dipper; named for their bobbing or dipping movements)

... if you look closely to the 2nd image you can clearly see from the Dippers breath just how cold it was!

Are all these birds native to Germany? I have never seen a Dipper before.
Keep posting the photos. Love 'em.
