Having been taken over by a Swedish Company I saw the all be it brief introduction to their first Coachbuit Motorhome on a Mercedes Chassis. yesterday. No price mentioned but looking at the build quality I should think well over the hundred k . They are also launching a PVC at £77k. Coachman have always built solid Vans and it will be interesting to see the full range.

I quite fancied this, looks like it is rebadged

Coachman used to be a quality product but now taken over who knows what they'll churn out. Did they not take Bentley Motorhomes many years ago with disastrous results?

As others have said, Coachman have always had a good reputation for caravans so one would hope that might be carried on into a motorhome venture.
We had a Coachman caravan a few years ago and good tugger friends have one now.
it will be interesting to see what they come up with.

Richard.

Just shows how things do change.
Years ago we were thinking caravan, did research Coachman got really bad reviews.
This must have been around 2001/2.
They have obviously pulled their socks up.

Nice simple 3 model range all with hab air con. Quality is fantastic!

We had a Coachman Pastiche 460/2 caravan until giving up vanning. It was a brilliant van but somewhat heavy compared to others of similar size. The payload was very limited so most equipment was carried in the Volvo.
However, if the motorhomes are built to the same standards, they will be up there with the best, and expensive!

We need another Frankia dealership too, so please consider that too😇
Never really looked at Frankia. Sold a couple and seem like nice vans.

Coachman will do a french bed, twin singles and an island bed, all with garages all with drop down beds and air con.
Think they will retail about 97k ish. All 4 berth 4 belt. Very pretty vehicles. I also like the fact the drop down bed's are flush so you don't know they are there!

Wasn’t that Vanmaster ?

I wasn't sure It all happened quickly and then finished. I hope Coachman deliver a quality product, it would be nice to have a good British brand again.

One that gave a damn would be handy.
It’s a shame, a MH with a good reputation but only having one dealership is asking for trouble, and not very convenient for customers🤷🏻‍♂️

Yes they did. Total disaster by management who hadn't a clue. We were after buying our third bentley but after talking to them we didn't. So pleased we ducked them.

You’ve just answered your own question! 😄

THey are now being built under Kabe so build quality should be superb!

Vanmaster bought Bentley and then went bust taking both names.

WIGAN-BASED VANMASTER CARAVANS, which bought the Bentley Motorhomes brand last September, went into administration yesterday (Monday 29 April 2013). Sadly, both brands are affected. Practical Motorhome magazine spoke to Tim Downs, spokesman for the administrators Geoffrey Martin & Co, to ask where customers stand if they bought a Bentley motorhome or Vanmaster caravan.

Apologies. Difficult to keep track. Not much owned by the brits now.

Just thought I would give you all an update. Our Coachman demos are being built and will arrive with us in March. Built by Kabe and look amazing. I have gone slightly mad and ordered 30, I am even putting someone on the stand at the NEC as I think this brand will be special!

Blimey, look forward to seeing them at the NEC. Will they be on the Coachman stand? I’ll check them out. Wasn’t aware they were being actually built by Kabe, should be special

Any specs yet?

I saw that review, first impressions for me were that they seemed very average and run of the mill. They don't seem anything special although I accept that is a very early opinion from a short video.

Totally Agree👍👍

Had all my coachman training today. Immediately ordered 40 for stock which is a big move for an expensive van that’s launching: I am genuinely impressed. Have a look at the NEC for the launch; the you tube video was just a prototype!
Kabe advertise on their website that their vans are waterproof that’s a big claim!
