or forward?

Here we go again, get the home AEG oven manual out, and see if I can set the clock without losing the will to live.
I remember the easiest way was to isolate the power supply for 30 seconds, then it will flash 12.00, then set PM, or AM, or leave at the 24 hour setting as I do, :giggle:then hold one button in whilst turning the lower oven temp knob up or down, but do all that quick, or it needs to be isolated again.
Nightmare or what! :banghead:

Aye the bloody Bosch is just as bad. First find the correct buttons to press in the correct order. Then press and hold them until the correct time is displayed. If you go past it you have to hold the buttons for it to count the next 24 hours.
Can’t we just not do it? Stick to GMT seeing as we invented it.

At last the clock in our Transit will show the correct time again. The clock is a swine to adjust so I leave it.
Changing the clocks is one bit of low tech I can manage without supervision.

Got up at 7.05 (6.05) really, within 10 mins I had made a brew, altered the kitchen clock, cooker and microwave only clock that’s up the wall is my body clock, still feel like sleeping.

I did the clocks last night, just the car and motorbike to do today. After I adjusted the kitchen clock, it stopped 🥺 new battery and it's going again 🙂

The EU have said that after this year each country can decide whether or not to use Summer Time or even stay permanently on Summer Time.

Does anyone know if there is a list of which EU countries have decided to do what? Or is it too early for them to decide?

We will need to know what time our friends are likely to be in the middle of dinner. Basia is on the computer video to Queensland as I type and they stay on same time all year., but then they are nrarer the equator.

Elaine and I grabbed a last minute booking on a Yokohama to Seattle cruise 3 years ago and for about a week, we had to put our clock forward every evening. Lots of American customers were moaning that they couldn't get a refund for the day that they had lost ...

They are great entertainment value though ...

That cruise was the end of a 'purple patch' where our Top 3 cruise destinations followed on from each other [Credit Card didn't just take the strain, it died of exhaustion] and the first was a 42 day No Fly cruise from Tilbury to Cuba & the Caribbean. Our modest CMV cruise ship moored some distance away from an NCL 14 storey block of flats that arrived in Roatan a few minutes after us. We were caught up in the disembarkation from the NCL vessel so I moved into their shuffling queue [or 'Line'] and felt instantly like the Slimmer of the Year! The lady in front of me wore bright pink trousers that must have been made from 3 marquees. She did provide a lot ofshade though, so a great result

Just nail a post it note near the clock with ‘Add an hour’ written on it. 😄
