Chroming.

Can anyone recommend a company that specialises in chroming Objects.

I have 2 Headlight bezels that require stripping, polishing and re-chroming.

The new grille is in and I need to finish the work on the front of the RV.

It looks like they are aluminium castings.

Hi Steve

I think if you Google electroplaters you will find companies you may be willing to travel to.
Not all do chrome plating, but the ones that do would be happy to show you examples of their work if you call at the right time.
There are not as many companies doing it now as there were 20 years ago, but I hope you find one easily.

As you say, it seems it's another industry that's on the decline.:Sad:

The trouble is, There could be quite a few parts i want re-chromed in the future including the Front Bumper.

Would there be something in one of the classic car mags? - a sneaky peek in WH Smiths or Tescos might do it

As 'superk' suggested, best source of info would be in Classic Car mags....try Practical Classics.

There still are companies doing chroming and 'one off's', but you do have to search to find 'em.
