I wanted B055 ADC but I couldn't justify the £2.5K that the DVLA wanted for it...wonder if its gone yet... (BOSS ADC ).....ah well they want only £1999 now.....think I'll leave it....

Wonder what they'll do if they change vans for a different make/type! Could prove expensive!

I would love to have P1GGY! ::bigsmile:

Grahams number plate on his van is C20 VEN, spaced of course to read C2 0VEN, cost us £250 and everyone thats sees it thinks its great, but you have to know what our business is for it to mean anything.

My ideal plate was D4 LEK, Dale K ...ing but it was going to auction, and because of what it read Graham wouldnt bid on it thinking it would go for £1000's, DALEK, it went for £1100 and now would be worth ten times more to a Dr Who fanatic. Oh well I have to make do with 55555DK instead.

My BIL's dad had a Commer van many moons ago bought new for their building/shopfitting firm with COM 1C on the front and back. They P/Ex'd it a few years later.

Didn't even think anything about it - till much later they saw a pic of Jimmy Tarbucks Roller!!!

In my past life I used to see "PEN 15" on Steve Parrish's Mercedes
He was a Motorbike racer by the way :Smile:
I also saw a Porche in Linlithgow, Scotland which was "Boo8s" :ROFLMAO:

While in the Isle of Man some years ago i was riding back into Douglas and couldn't shake off a Merc that was close up behind me. he finally passed on douglas Prom and as he passed i gave him abit of a stare as he was so close. the number was MAN SOL and it was Nigel Mansell. I let him go after that :ROFLMAO:

Up yu

i had L 1 PYU, i had the plate made up to look like UP YU, soon altered it though when cops pulled me up + fined me.
Exchanged it with the nice black Saab convertible that it was on ( made £3,000 profit on the plate) towards my 1st m/h. :ROFLMAO:
Has anyone seen it about in the last 18 months ? i wonder where it is now.

When I lived in Middlesbrough Paul Daniels, before he was famous of course, used to come to our school to do his magic shows. He owned a shop with his first wife which was at the end of our street and my aunty used to drive him around coz he couldnt drive.
