Don't forget that currently you have to evidence that you have had two covid jabs.

And that a forged parental signature on the little card won't cut it ::bigsmile: ::bigsmile:

Same as in the UK the only thing that is different, depending on where we are going and time of year is we sometimes leave the snow chains behind.

You do need your original V5, insurance cert & MOT, copies not accepted, we leave them in the van anyway.

Also note that a breathalyser is required by law in France, but there is no penalty for not having one. I read this that if you are stopped and can present a breathalyser, the Gendarmes may be less inclined to take a really long look at you.

No GB stickers, must say "UK"

If your bus is over 3500, you will need the ugly 'Angles Mort' stickers festooned all over your MH.

If you intend visiting French cities, you will need a crit air sticker. However, if your MH is pre-2006, then you are unlikely to get awarded a sticker that allows you into the city.

This is the type of lists we have, it's an old version of mine but you can adapt it as required.

What's a European Accident Statement ?

Cable ties are useful to have on board but I've never felt the need for a spirit level

They repealed that law years ago.

What's a European Accident Statement ?
A form that you have to carry and if you are in an accident both parties have to fill it in and sign. Can't leave the seen until you have done it.
I always carry a couple had them since the days they issued green cards always got them with them.

I think there is an online version now & you can download them also providing you hit a foreign driver he will have one.

Download the app "e- accident".

You don't use a spirit level?? Can I cordially suggest that when you pour yourself your 'Good Driving' Armagnac on arrival, you look at the glass and if the brandy in it looks lopsided then you need to use your ramps 🥃

Agree on cable ties.

EAS pdf attached. Not mandatory, but a statement form that is recognised Europe-wide.

So long as the glass doesn't slide off the table that'll do for me

The first 4 items in DDJC List are things I have never taken, and indeed I dont think I posess. I realise the list is alphabetical rather than order of priority.
I do carry quite a lot of tools though, gas connections in particular if they need tightening do need quite large spanners that you dont get in the standard sets..
Never be without your multimeter.

Unless I have missed them in the posts, I would add E111 card ( or post Brexit equivalent) and ACSI card, I never go without that little gem saves a fortune
