This is a rough estimate but between 2000/3500 kg if its gvw is 3000kg which gives anything up to GTW 6500 kg i would think 6500 highly unlikely but can vary a lot you need to see the vehicle plates?
our Hymer is plated GVW 4500 kg and GTW 6000kg😊

I'm not sure the train weight is relevant. So long as you dont exceed the maximum towing weight of the motorhome. Unless you are talking driving licence. C1

According to the brochure , here;

https://www.chausson-camping-cars.f...chausson-2021_catalogue-profiles_Q1_UK_V4.pdf

you have to ask the dealer for this information-
** could be it might not be able to tow anything?

Don’t you have a weight plate on the MH; it’s detailed there.

We've seen a similiar issue to this before with Chausson:

No, it is a van I was looking at at a dealer so I do not have any paperwork, hence the question.

thanks to everyone for your replies, I think I now know the answer.

Well as far as that goes it does say on my CoC 01: 2000 kg & 02 : 750 kg so I can prove it is able to tow however I think when things get back to normal a bit more I will get DVLA to put this on the V5? They were provided with it when I imported the van so obviously didn’t or couldn’t be bothered to fill it in.🙄

If you've got time then I would still give the dealer a call to see what they advise; even if it's just to check if they do know anything about the product they sell, lol :)

Oh yes, I intend to. The Chauson is only on tHe shortlist at the moment.

Not necessarily, the weight could just have been omitted from the V5.
The only way to tell for certain is off the VIN plate whether it be the base or converters plate but the converter takes priority.
If the VIN is blank you can't tow at all.

Yes worth sorting it out. As pappajohn said check the vin plate, converters one, as that should show a weight if it can.
