Changing the 12v sockets in Rapido to cigarette lighter size (1 Viewer)

Goood afternoon from a very cold Eauze,
For some reason the 12volt sockets in the habitation area of our Rapido 766FF are not the same size as those on the cab . This makes charging phones when not on the road and not on hookup a pain. I would like to fit the bigger socket to habitation area using the same surrounds/backplate. Any advice gratefully received.

You need Hela socket adapters. Cheap and easy from ebay!

Thanks Brewery Dave, a good idea , but I have now found exactly what I want from Leisure shop direct. Expensive but it is a double output usb charger from the same maker as the original. Just waiting dor carriage price

Rapido are not alone, many continental vans use the smaller 12v sockets. Its also annoying that the cab 12v sockets, and the radio bluetooth and USB sockets, are all ignition powered, anyone got a solution to that?

If the sockets are in common cbe type sockets all you need is to buy the cig lighter equivalent.

I just use adaptors in the hella sockets, though I have fitted a few extra cig lighter types as so many things use them. The Hella type sockets are so much better than the cig lighter types
