We drove into @ukbill hacienda in Alicante province and had a nasty jar when our back wheel dropped down a hole in the ground.
The motorhome on that side was resting on the chassis and plumbing the hole with a broom handle showed it was at least 5 foot deep. I called our breakdown provider DAS via Comfort insurance and in about an hour a splendid Spanish chap with and enormous truck arrived and with the aid of my 2ton bottle jack and lots of bits of wood managed to jack it up
And then was able to tow it out with his winch plus me driving it out, great relief all round. The hole was then revealed as a cesspit which Bill didn't know about.
This produces an unexpected bonus in that he can now install a waste disposal point for any motorhomers who visit. Don't all rush at once as there is really only room for one at a time as Bills motorhome is here too. There is a bodega 5 mins walk away that does a very drinkable red and Rosado at €4.95 for 3l so no rush to leave
