Hi,
Do many motorhomers have CB radios???
Are they useful especially when travelling through Europe????
Can it be a good way of hooking up with other like minded travellers whilst on the road????

We are considering fitting one, would we be wasting our time????

I see its been covered, but any additional info, experience would be useful
has anyone been surprised to find many responses when putting a call out whilst in any parts of Europe??? could this be useful in the event of a breakdown or other issue arising???
I am thinking perhaps translating with the police if stopped for some reason would be very useful.

Thanks

Mobile phones and social media killed citizen band radio.
Some members still use them, good for a few running in convoy, but I reckon there are too many brain dead, button pressing idiots out there to make it worthwhile.

Been moho’ing for a time now
I too keep contemplating getting another cb, had cb's back in the 70's, very handy and good fun. Apparently according to a mate there's very few people using them, as mentioned earlier, but they are quite cheap now, and generally are UK/Europe compliant, and NO licence required, should I, shouldn't I, that is the question ?

Go to search bar... Type in CB radio and you will find the subject has been done on here several times..
A few do have it but only a few... The idea of a "motorhome channel" gets raised every so often and then dies a death..

The glory days of CB are gone...
