The video shows the station at site mentioned!! guess you decided not to watch videoThere's one at the Caravan & Motorhome Club site at Abbey Wood, London. Wasn't brave enough to give it a go! Think it cost something like £2 to use.
Certainly didn't take the cap off in the video, and no mention of it on the machine instructions either from what I could see?I think they add blue as well so not suitable for everyone. You still have to take the cap off as well.
Well, it certainly beats NOT cleaning it and continuing to fill it with s*** I guess??!!Don't see the point in cleaning it just to fill it with sh.. again.....
I would imagine so as well. Just thought it was interesting and could be a really good way for certain places to provide a service for motorhome users whilst also making a small profit for the local coffers. They appear occasionally in Spain too. Tried one once. Personally I think you can do a better job of rinsing the cassette yourself but hey....worth a try once if you see one just for the novelty of it
I only became aware of them half an hour ago. I was looking at a campsite in Croatia and they had a whole page devoted to this machine. They provide theirs free of charge for people staying on site and it interested me!All listed on the camperclean website - Europe wide.
Yes from that point of view they are an excellent idea.I would imagine so as well. Just thought it was interesting and could be a really good way for certain places to provide a service for motorhome users whilst also making a small profit for the local coffers.
Ok, I've just checked the makes website, as well as 4 other videos showing people using these machines. In none of them do the users remove the cap, so I feel confident in saying that no, you don't have to remove it at all.I wouldn't say it cleans it just empties it. You must take the cap off yourself whatever the video or instructions say
No i didn't, tablet is old and slow so didn't want it to work too hard, well that's my excuse ;-)The video shows the station at site mentioned!! guess you decided not to watch video
No problem, it was a s*** video anyway....No i didn't, tablet is old and slow so didn't want it to work too hard, well that's my excuse ;-)
The only cassette I keep clean is the spare.... yet to be used...Well, it certainly beats NOT cleaning it and continuing to fill it with s*** I guess??!!
I used a Thetford branded machine in Spain that was different then as cap had to be removed and from memory it looked like machine tilted and tipped cassette like you would yourself. There must be different types out there.Ok, I've just checked the makes website, as well as 4 other videos showing people using these machines. Ah I see. I think it must be a different machine as this one appears to do both Thetford and Dometic cassettes. From the noise of it, I would think it's using a vacuum system to empty and maybe a high=pressure water jet to clean?I used a Thetford branded machine in Spain that was different then as cap had to be removed and from memory it looked like machine tilted and tipped cassette like you would yourself. Yes, when in Croatia a few years back they had them on a few sites and they were indeed free to use…I only became aware of them half an hour ago.
