On friday we are going to Cardiff Caravan Park for three or four days,we have never been to the camp site or Cardiff.Has anyone any recommendations as to the site or places to visit.
Thanks Rich :D

Is that the one in Sofia gardens?

If so I hope it has smartened up a bit since my last visit about 4 years ago.

Great position though to enjoy the city.

Castell Coch just off Junction 32 M4 north of the city. Cardiff castle itself. get a water taxi from near the Sofia Gardens campsite to Cardiff bay and get lunch at one of umpteen nice places overlooking the bay.

St fagans is just outside cardiff, free to get in, I went with some girlfriends, they were dubious but we had a lovely afternoon.

Scotland are playing wales on Sunday so the pubs will be busy, worth joining in though.

Dr who exhibition down in the bay, also where thingy was filmed.

Norwegian church on the barrage.

The market is worth a wander too.

Pennard is nice for a walk along the prom.

I'm presuming you will google all these for further info.

Agree about St Fagans - superb place for any age group. water taxi from Sophia Gardens to the Bay also well worthwhile. Other half also tells me to mention that there is an IKEA store nearby - sorry!!

£30 a night but its right in the center and the boat ride is a nice trip down to the bay bring plenty of money great shopping for the wife, and you can get a nice pint of brains in the old arcade pub what more could you want ?

Plenty of good places to eat ,not far from the site. If you like fish try fish at 85 ,google it .and others have said plenty of good pubs.
