Both Clubs have regular rallies/meets organised by local Centres/District Associations. Like minded people getting together for a weekend or more at a very reasonable price. Main differences between the 2 is that CAMC do not allow tents and in run more as a business.as a newbie is it worthwhile joining the above club what i can see u seem to get good discount off your pitch fees
Not strictly true... quite a few CAMC do allow tent.... Edinburgh being one..Main differences between the 2 is that CAMC do not allow tents and in run more as a business.
Hi the caravan and motorhome club seem to do good discounts on pitch feesThere are two 'clubs'. The Caravan and Motorhome Club (CAMC) and the Caravan and Camping Club (CCC).
Which one do you mean? I've only belonged to the CAMC. I've rarely stayed on their sites but from many similar posts on here it seems there's little difference between the two clubs.
In my limited experience of only the CAMC their sites and facilities do seem be of a consistently high standard but like so many sites the pitch fees do seem to be rising to a point where non-club sites can be very competitive.Hi the caravan and motorhome club seem to do good discounts on pitch fees

Anything from £6.00 to £15.00 and very occasionally slightly more BUT the norm is £8 to £10.What sort of prices we talking?
We were at the CAMC site in Bristol last week - the chap who booked into reception in front of us was a non member & it was costing him an extra £13.50 per night. Yes it seems like a good discount but as members we were already paying £31.50/nt and that was November which is low season! Prices have gone up an awful lot this year.Hi the caravan and motorhome club seem to do good discounts on pitch fees
CACC, temporarily sites. Paid £7.50 per night for a temp site right on the beach at Scougall farm near North Berwick. No ehu but water and waste available. Paid £7.50 at Kendal. £14.50 at a site near Newquay with ehu and a swimming pool onsite. What sort of prices we talking?
