Canon RF 200-800mm lens I have on longer got this on order UK £2299 US $1899 £1521 so will get it from the US.

Have you factored in the UK Import Vat at 20% + Customs duty .. ?

Don't forget that you will have to pay import duty on it so cost saving will not be as good (if you put it down as secondhand ) you probably won't have to pay it.and as scotjimlad says it is plus vat

I still have a X work mate that still works in the US and is over in the UK quite a lot so i'll get him to get it and take it over.

If you do that tell him to ditch the receipt and make sure he has a Canon camera with him that the lens fits otherwise customs will still want paying???
