Truly shocking. We should all stick rigidly to the rules, no matter how inconvenienced we will be, no matter how little the danger in reality. I mean what would our esteemed leader have done in the circumstances, if he were late for a work meeting, carrying a valuable suitcase full of work-enabling liquids? As the leader of the House of Commons told us, we should all apply a little common sense, and not necessarily stick to what the police and fire service tell us to do, however well-meaning their intentions.
