Campsites in cote d azur (1 Viewer)

Hi we are looking for campsites in the area ideal for walking dogs and near to villages and footpaths/cycle paths.
Currently between Toulon and bandol

Very few and far between and very expensive far better on the coast past Perpignan towards Spain

we stayed at la tour fondue a few weeks back, quite liked it and has all of what you are looking for
also aire in cavalier, not a cheap one but you get electric in with the price
and further along is agay soleil, not used it our selves but have it on the list because of being able to catch the train etc easily to do monaco and the like

Not trying to put you off if that's where you want to go but we have just moved on from there and we have vowed never to return.

If you really want to go we have been on a site just between Menton and ventimiglia and it was good for getting about as they run their own shuttle bus both ways along the coast called por la mar but that is 26 euros a night

DE lar presquile
For walking and cycling they say de lar presquire
Would you agree.
They are 2km away

no idea to be honest, didnt really go near the other one!!
the fondue did have lots of walks and seemed to be lots of folks out cycling as well (we didnt have our bikes this time)

Hi Bungy thanks for the recommendations.
We have pitched up at de lar presquile which is their other site.
We like it 3 beaches to choose from and one or two walks from site .
Might try the restaurant tomorrow.
Then move on

We are near orange with our 2 dogs and may be heading that way, are any of the beaches dog friendly?

Hi apologise for not replying sooner, just renewed subs.
Where we are their are 3 beaches and we have been on 2 of them, people take their dogs on but there are signs saying no dogs, I asked the campsite guy and he said keen the lead and no-one will bother you out of season.
There is also a free parking along the beach so you can take the van like we did or half an hour walk
