Blimey, I know CAMC has struggled during Covid but I’m pretty sure this renewal quote is a little higher than last years! Think I’d better ring before automatic renewal...

That would be funny....actually phoning them up and telling them you wanted to accept and proceed.....can you imagine the reaction or look on their face when they pull your details up.

Mine went down by a whopping £10 this year....which is a first for any of my insurances but that was with Adrian Flux.

Update* I rang CMAC mentioning the hilarious quote. The woman was utterly deadpan and said the offer I had last year was no longer available so the computer sends out a figure so high The policyholder would have to ring. Erm, why not send a letter saying that?
‘Oh well, haha, it’s made me laugh, crazy isn’t it?’ Nope-nothing from her, she didn’t even apologise or see the funny side. I could have been angry, upset, worried.... no acknowledgement whatsoever. Man...even the call centre staff have had a sense of humour bypass.
