Blimey, I know CAMC has struggled during Covid but I’m pretty sure this renewal quote is a little higher than last years! Think I’d better ring before automatic renewal...😂😂

Of course-nothing like sharing is caring. I think with this renewal, I’ll have paid for all of Wales’ Motorhomers insurance!

Blimey, we were quoted £890 which now seems cheap
the first year was £205.
we went elsewhere
 
Mine went down by a whopping £10 this year....which is a first for any of my insurances but that was with Adrian Flux.

It’s not like the decimal is in the wrong place... I can’t work out what it should be!
 
I think it’s a new sort of “new for old” policy where you buy the new MH (and a spare) in advance. Simples!

Are C&MC still doing "we'll beat your quote by ......?" If so, just think how chuffed you'll be when you beat them down by nigh on 12 grand!;)

We have a Bailey 79-4! Actually picking up a new to us Pilote G781 on Friday and can’t wait! Imagine if they’d quoted for that!!

I’m so tempted to post the quote on their social media. I must admit, I’m really fed up of their Hyacinth Bucket attitude.

It says there is a breakdown of the cover costs on the second page, perhaps that mentions the Mona Lisa they have hanging in the dinette area!! :LOL:
 
Update* I rang CMAC mentioning the hilarious quote. The woman was utterly deadpan and said the offer I had last year was no longer available so the computer sends out a figure so high The policyholder would have to ring. Erm, why not send a letter saying that?
‘Oh well, haha, it’s made me laugh, crazy isn’t it?’ Nope-nothing from her, she didn’t even apologise or see the funny side. I could have been angry, upset, worried.... no acknowledgement whatsoever. Man...even the call centre staff have had a sense of humour bypass.

Oh really ! , now i wonder how many policies they lose every year , through this kinda stupidity .

Not in the same hilt , i know , but my phone provider seem to believe i'm there for their benefit . They know better than me , and have decided i must have voice mail , despite my telling them i really don't want it . I've cancelled it three times now , and i told them the last time , if it reappears again , i'm gone . Did they pay attention , NO , what do ya know i have voicemail .

So , this morning i changed providers , actually it's a good move , same service for 9 quid less a month . I'm paying a shade over a fiver a month now . The old providers playing the long game , and dragging their heels with the pac code . Hah , what ye know , covid . But what they don't know is my phone is already active with the new provider , and i won't really need it for the next week or so , anyway . And besides , it won't take that long to send my new number out , using blanket texts .

Screw me around and your history ! .
