wildcamping area opposite the castle, & along the road about 300mtrs. To get to this area, you drive south around the ring rd & past Tesco on your right to a roundabout,go straight across then turn next right into a lane, and immediate right turn again, around 1/2 a mile the Caravan Club site will be on your left. Carry on to the river which will be on your right, you will see many suitable parking places along this road. If you get lost you can either ask for the caravan club site or follow your nose towards the river.we wild it right next to the sea,2 footsteps your on the beach..lovely and quiet where you can get you table 'n' chairs out..perfect..this si my pic of the sun setting,i took it out of the m/h door..lovely eh!!
That's great stuff guys, we really do need to get some posts in the wild camping section, I have some good spots to share and will upload as soon as I find time. If you have some, please post, our wildcamping cupboard is bare
Fabulous This is one of my regular bank holiday places to go Lots of parking!! I introduced Sammclouis to this place
George George Forman Grill, but we also use a 2 burner cooker from the barbi point on the van. Not the van you see there as that was our previous one
I have been staying along that stretch for about 10 years, fishing is good and its not so far from Trefor Pier which is also a lovely spot to stay and sheltered by the Quay wall from the elements if its a tad windy. I know this is an old thread but is the location still good to wild camp? I think this is it, along the river and to the foreshore.
