Hi All

We collected our 2017 Pilote G740c last week and then drove the 240 miles home. Once we got back I checked the levels on control panel and cab battery was showing 11.5 volts and flashing.
I spoke to the dealer the following morning who agreed that I could have it checked out locally but the guy that has been recommended to me is so busy can’t see me until the end of May!

I have a tracker fitted which shows battery level all week at 14.5 volts but I’ve just collected from storage and tracker now showing 13.6 volts parked, control panel still flashing11.5 volts.

I wouldn’t be too concerned but we are planning a few trips between now and the end of May.
As always any guidance greatly appreciated.

Sorry got that completely wrong showing 12.5 volts on tracker not 14.5 volts!!
Now showing 13.6 volts after short drive.
Yes I’m thinking control panel but I’ll stick the multi meter on just to confirm.

Possibly the dealer did mention that. Said if I charged on EHU over night it might reset but it didn’t! Is there another way to reset?
Thanks
Also measure the voltage at the panel with the multimeter, it may well be lower there and reading correctly. The one in our car reads low because it's away from the battery and through the fuse box etc.

Right I have purchased the multi meter and removed battery cover and this is the pic of the battery. I was expecting to see a large red wire for positive with a cap over the end but nothing!
I’m guessing positive is top left and negative bottom right? You’ve probably realised by now I am a complete novice with this stuff but keen to learn?😩

The negative is the uninsulated braided cable at the bottom and the positives are any of the others at the top 👍
Great reading 12.4 so happy that it’s probably the control panel. Thanks for your help think I’ll leave it at that and let the expert visit me end of May👍😂

Slightly low but if you've been opening the door etc there will be a small drain on it from ecu etc. All good 👍

You can see the actual battery positive terminal, top right, slightly hidden below that fuse distribution plate. That's the place to probe with the voltmeter.

The distribution plate goes from the terminal to one end of all the fuses. The other ends of the fuses have the wires attached.

You test on the centre of the positive battery terminal, so the reading is not altered by for example a loose clamp around the terminal. Unlikely but possible.
