Burster t660 2015 Fiat Wing mirror smashed. RHD (1 Viewer)

Hi - I am in southern Portugal, where a 7 ton lorry took off our passenger wing mirror - something a mirror guard could not protect against! Managed to gaffa tape what was left, but glass so shattered that it is next to useless. Still 2 weeks before returning. Does anyone know where I might get this replaced and not be ripped off please? Thanks in advance. Current location Zambujeira do Mar. Picture before using gaffa tape ;-).

We had a similar incident in Morocco with a French Motorhome. Went to a glaziers shop and he cut a piece of wardrobe mirror glass and siliconed it on top of the shattered remnants of the original. It did the job and lasted us 6 weeks till we got back home. Cost was less than £5.
The Replacement was from Germany cost over £400.

I have a pair of original ones from my Burstner T660 2015 which I must get round to selling. I replaced them with medium length ones as I didn't like the way they stuck out so far. But they are in the UK!

Not convinced mirror guards would have protected your mirror after looking at your picture.

If you can source a replacement the likes of UPS, TNT etc will delivery to any fixed address, we have had urgent parts delivered to a hotel in the Sahara.
