What's your budget?
I was bought a Samsung A12 for my birthday for around £140. The Samsung J4 Plus can be had for just under £100

Cubot Smart Phones might be a consideration for you.

I always buy on ebay secondhand I look for private sellers of 2 year old models where they've upgraded to the latest I look at their sellers history

Better value than Samsung tbh.

Imho below that level the phones become laggy.

Moto G are good value and decent quality. or the Honor phones ( if you dont mind Chinese )

other than that its a Samsung.

I am still using an iPhone 6 because my daughter steals all of my upgrades.

It works fine though so I would think you can pick them up pretty cheap on eBay.
