Joy, @movan I'm not sure but possibly. They were not in the pop-up bag when I took it out and that is where they are always stored. Will search my shed when I get home just in case I have done something stupid and separated them- but looks like I might need to order another couple of packs.

@Welsh girl - MCC are set up at the bottom of the field but the access just through the gate was rather muddy last night and will no doubt get worse after last nights rain. I would recommend you get here early!!

Thanks. We're going in convoy 6 at a time from this field so limited in our travel time. Looks like we're going to be towed in and out with the weather forecast for the week.

Hope you find them Carol x

We have seen them pull the vans up from the bottom Field that MCC use now but it was many years ago . MCC used to be on top field and general camping below. Carol when you see how many people turn up you will be glad you turned up early it will be worth it if the flights go you will have a great view and only a short distance to walk to all events . It is a shame they have put price up though £15 is a lot :( but it's free in the feista and loads to see . Usually lots of free goodies are handed out as well . If you buy a programme it usually has pics of all the balloons that are attending . It has a tick box for you so when you watch the flights you tick them if. We have sat many mornings from 5.45 till 7.30ish ticking the boxes :) x just hope you have the weather .

Thanks Kate, I know I shouldn't moan about the cost, and I promise I won't if it stops raining and the flights happen!!! Nothing really planned for today other than dog walking so will sit back and watch all the arrivals - we'll see if any get stuck!

Carol moan away I would be moaning all weekend think £15 is way over the top . We may have to rethink going with MCC in future . Hate being ripped off . It only used to be £8 originally so was worth us going early and getting a good spot on top feild . Xxx hope it stays dry for ya xxx

Well the tractor is working overtime - a rush of MH's arrived from 10 o'clock on and the MCC field is already cut up to such an extent that they are being towed on! I hope it stops raining soon as I need to get to my towing eye out ready to be towed off on Saturday!!

Oh dear. Wondering whether to give this a miss.. :( weather forecast not good and looks like by the time I arrive tomorrow I will be parked in a muddy field well away from the action... add to that an active 2yr old stuck in a van bored .. may not be such a good idea after all. . . :(

Well the tractor is working overtime

Sounds as if it's a good job I decided to give it a miss. I was at Cheltenham Race Course, on tarmac, and had intended traveling down to the festival this morning but with all the rain overnight decided to come home instead.

I hope no one has any damage and you see a few balloons go up.

When we went a few years ago, arrived on Wednesday everyone was towed on the field and we were lucky enough to be parked next to Funsters Pete and Di and Jim and Marion every flight went up, and everyone drove off on the Monday, considering its was like a ploughed field it drained very quick, that was with the Avon CC&C. Hope it's all going well, and don't forget to look for the Perseid meteor shower on Saturday night, supposed to be extra good this year!!

Up With the lark as it is such a beautiful morning the early flight time looks like going ahead. Have to confess only sitting outside with a cuppa as still in my PJ's but should get a great view with being so close to the take off arena.

Brilliant night Glow and fireworks. Great atmosphere. Field is dry now and weather great again today. Thankfully the weather improved for most of the flying to take place today.

We were there last year and saw the amazing night glow but weather not good for the morning flight on Friday and we had to leave to go to Malvern so missed it. Looks amazing. Have a great weekend.
