So after we’ve been ripped off obtaining a ahc certificate does it also get you back into the uk? Or does he need worming and an eu vet visit before we get back

Why wont you support Britain and buy british? Plenty dogs here in UK needing a home.

Yes he still needs what he reuired before a worming tablet & either the ahc filled in or yo can still use the UK pet passprt to reenter the UK

And the worming tablet must be recorded by the vet as before.

Get it an EU passport while your out there,no need for AHC for future trips out of UK👍

I used to think that until you see some of the bloody silly hoops you have to jump through to get a dog over here, most removing centres insist on 6ft fencing and fully enclosed gardens no children under the age of 27 and if you can't take both of your grand parents with you when you go a view the dog you might aswel not bother turning up of and don't mention you may the mut for more about 3 minutes a week on its own

Yes, you've been well and truly ripped off, if the vet you saw didn't give you the information you need on your return. Suggest look at UK government website. I've not checked recently as I think it's fraught with too many problems even thinking of going abroad, with or without a dog, but I would assume the answer there is there, and politer and more reliable than the replies you get here..

Yes. Same as before
Go see a vet before you come home and they will give worming tablet and put the info on the AHC this time. Or you could get a EU passport whilst there 👍🏻

Rather than tar all with the same brush I've just inserted some words I think you forgot ...

Worming still needed for return to UK just as before, same timescale etc. They just enter it on the AHC instead of in a PP unless you've got an EU PP for your pooch whilst out there in which case they'd enter it in that instead.

As they had already got an AHC the dog would already have been in the UK so not an 'import' from abroad otherwise they wouldn't have needed it in the first place.
